Central Macedonia to Present Innovative Tourism Products at Thessaloniki Tech Event
The first product to be presented concerns sustainable transportation with the use of bicycles through GPS-tracking technology. The presentation will include information on the EasyBike Hotel, an innovative bicycle rental service which is currently available in 25 cities across Greece.
The other two products to be discussed concern the promotion of “smart” tourism ecosystemsthrough the interconnection of health-care-wellness and the development of tourism products based on new technologies of virtual and augmented reality.
The presentation will take place in collaboration with the Center for Research and Technology Hellas/Information Technology Institute, on the sidelines of the thessweek event, which is dedicated to technology, innovation and entrepreneurship and is taking place in Thessaloniki from May 12 to 20.
The presentation will also be held within the framework of the 5th Technology Forum, which focuses on new technologies.
